Article 12 – Definition of State

Article 12 gives an inclusive and not exhaustive definition of the state. So, definition of the State includes
- The Government and Parliament of India.
- The Government and the Legislature of each of the state.
- All local or other authorities within the territory of India.
- All other authorities under the control of the Government of India.
