The United Nations (UN) World Science Day for Peace and Development is observed annually around the world on November 10 to highlight the importance of science in society and the need to engage the public in discussions on emerging scientific issues.

*The theme of World Science Day for Peace and Development 2021 is “Creating Climate-Ready Communities”.
Purpose:
*Strengthening public awareness of the role of science for peaceful and stable communities;
*Promoting national and international solidarity for shared science between nations;
*Renew national and international commitment to use science for the benefit of communities;
