Uttarakhand CM Announced Vatsalya Yojana For Children Orphaned due to Covid-19

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat has announced a ‘Vatsalya Yojana’ for orphans who have lost their parents due to the covid-19 epidemic.

The project is scheduled to be implemented by May 30, 2021.

Advantages of Under the Scheme:

*The Uttarakhand state government has proposed to make arrangements for their care, education and employment training for orphaned children up to the age of 21 due to corona infection.
*Orphans in the state will be given a maintenance allowance of Rs 3,000 per month.
*Laws were made for the paternal property of orphans who lost their parents, and no one had the right to sell their paternal property until they were adults. Responsibility in this regard has been given to the concerned District Judge.
*5 percent horizontal reservation in state government jobs will be provided under the scheme for children whose parents have died due to covid-19.
