With the second wave of corona infection in India at rest, the daily corona outbreak has been steadily increasing for the past couple of days. Today’s corona damage is slightly less than yesterday’s.
Across India, 35,499 people have been diagnosed with corona in the last 24 hours. The maximum number of victims was 18,607 in Kerala, 5,508 in Maharashtra, 2,050 in Andhra Pradesh, 1,956 in Tamil Nadu, 1,598 in Karnataka, and 1,243 in Odisha.
A total of 447 people died yesterday, including 151 in Maharashtra, 93 in Kerala, and 69 in Odisha. Thus the total number of deaths due to corona infection across the country is 4,28,309.
The total number of people who have recovered from corona infection so far is 3,11,39,457, according to a report released by the Federal Ministry of Health.
In India, 4,02,188 people are being hospitalized for corona infection. A total of 50 crores 86 lakh doses of vaccines have been given in the country so far.
Although the second wave of corona is gradually declining, medical experts say there is a risk of a third wave if people do not follow the rules of corona prevention properly.
