Across the country, 27,176 people have been confirmed infected with a corona in the last 24 hours, slightly higher than the previous day (25,404), bringing the total number of corona infections to 3,33,16,755.
The corona infection killed 284 people in a single day. Thus the total number of deaths due to corona infection across the country is 4,43,497.
According to the Federal Ministry of Health, the total number of people who have recovered from corona infection so far is 3,25,22,171. In the last 24 hours, 38,012 people have been discharged from corona infection.
In India, 3,51,087 people are being treated in hospitals for corona infection. The number of corona vaccines vaccinated so far across the country has increased to 75 crore 89 lakh 12 thousand 277.
Although the second wave of the corona is gradually declining, medical experts say there is a risk of a third wave if people do not follow the rules of corona prevention properly.
