Across the country, 30,570 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus in the last 24 hours, slightly higher than yesterday, bringing the total number of coronaviruses to 3,33,47,325.
The highest number of cases were reported in Kerala yesterday at 17,681, followed by Maharashtra at 3,783, followed by 1,658 in Tamil Nadu, 1,445 in Andhra Pradesh, 1,116 in Karnataka, and 1,402 in Mizoram.
The corona infection killed 431 people in a single day. Thus, the total number of deaths due to corona infection across the country is 4,43,928, with a maximum of 1,38,277 in Maharashtra.
According to the Federal Ministry of Health, the total number of people who have recovered from corona infection so far is 3,25,60,474. In the last 24 hours, 38,012 people have been discharged from corona infection.
In India, 3,42,923 people suffering from corona infection are being treated in hospitals. The number of vaccines so far has crossed 76 crores 57 lakhs across the country. Across the country, 64,51,423 vaccines were given to people yesterday.
Although the second wave of the corona is gradually declining, medical experts say there is a risk of a third wave if people do not follow the rules of corona prevention properly.
