Nobel Prize in Chemistry – 2021

Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences 2021 Nobel Prize in Chemistry German chemist Benjamin List and British chemist David W.C. Macmillan for the development of a precise new and unique tool for molecular construction: Asymmetric organocatalysis.

*The 2021 Nobel Prize in Chemistry has been awarded by the Secretary-General of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, Professor Goran K. Hansson announced.
*The Nobel Prize gold medal and the cash prize of 10 million Swedish kronor (approximately Rs. 8.5 crores) will be shared equally among the prize winners.

Discovery:
