Corona exposure in India has been declining for the past few days. In the last 24 hours, 16,326 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus. This brings the total number of corona infections to 3,41,59,562, with a maximum of 9,361 in Kerala, 1,632 in Maharashtra and 1,152 in Tamil Nadu.
The corona infection killed 666 people in a single day. Thus the total number of deaths due to corona infection across the country is 4,53,708.
According to the Federal Ministry of Health, the total number of people who have recovered from corona infection so far is 3,35,32,126. In the last 24 hours, 17,677 people have been discharged from corona infection.
In India, 1,73,728 people are being treated in hospitals for corona infection. 68,48,417 vaccines were given to people across the country yesterday. The number of vaccine doses so far has risen from 101 crore to 30 lakh.
