Corona exposure in India has been declining for the past few days. In the last 24 hours, 12,428 people have been diagnosed with corona infection.
This brings the total number of corona infections to 3,42,02,2021, with a maximum of 6,664 in Kerala, 1,112 in Tamil Nadu and 889 in Maharashtra. This is the lowest level in the state in the last 10 years.
A single day of corona infection killed 356 people. Thus the total number of deaths due to corona infection across the country is 4,55,068.
According to the Federal Ministry of Health, the total number of people who have recovered from corona infection so far is 3,35,83,318. In the last 24 hours, 15,951 people have been discharged from corona infection.
In India, 1,63,816 people are being treated for coronavirus in hospitals. Across the country, 64,75,733 vaccines were given yesterday. The number of vaccine doses so far has risen from 102 crore to 94 lakh.
