Introduction of Part II – Citizenship
Part II (Articles 5 to 11) if of our Constitution deals with the matters of citizenship. A citizen of a state is a person who enjoys full civil and political rights. India has two kinds of persons living in the country namely Citizenship and Aliens.
Article 11 – Parliament to regulate the rights of citizenship by law.
Parliament shall have the power to make any provision with respect to the acquisition and termination of citizenship and all other matters relating to citizenship.
