Two students of grade 10th Vaidehi Vekariya and Radhika Lakhani Prafulbha have combinedly discovered an asteroid near earth named as HLV2514 by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
- NASA has confirmed their findings that this new asteroid is anticipated to pass the earth in the future.
- This research work ignited them by the spark science program called “All India Asteroid Search Campaign 2020” they have been working for this for straight two months.
- The school girls enrolled as a part of a collaboration with Hardin Simmons University in Texas and International Astronomical Search Collaboration(IASC).
