With the second wave of corona infection in India at rest, the daily incidence has been on the rise for the past one or two days. Across the country, 25,166 people have been confirmed infected with corona in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of corona infections to 3,22,50,679.
The corona infection has killed 437 people in a single day, bringing the total number of corona infections across the country to 4,32,079.
According to the Federal Ministry of Health, the total number of people who have recovered from corona infection so far is 3,14,48,754. In the last 24 hours, 36,830 people have been discharged from corona infection.
In India, 3,69,846 people are being treated in hospitals for corona infection. The proportion of patients treated has dropped to 1.15%. So far 55,47,30,609 crore people in India have been vaccinated against corona.
Although the second wave of the corona is gradually declining, medical experts say there is a risk of a third wave if people do not follow the rules of corona prevention properly.
