Across the country, 15,823 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus in the last 24 hours.For the 5th day in a row, the number of corona victims was less than 20,000 yesterday, bringing the total number of corona victims to 3,40,01,743.
A single day of corona infection killed 226 people. Thus the total number of deaths due to corona infection across the country is 4,51,189.
According to the Federal Ministry of Health, the total number of people who have recovered from corona infection so far is 3,33,42,901. In the last 24 hours, 22,844 people have been discharged from corona infection.
In India, 2,07,653 people infected with corona are being treated in hospitals. Nationwide, 50,63,845 doses were administered yesterday, bringing the total number of doses administered so far to 96.43 crore.
Although the second wave of corona is gradually declining, medical experts say there is a risk of a third wave if people do not follow the rules of corona prevention properly.
