In October 2021, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh presented the winners of the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) ‘Dare to Dream 2.0’ competition and the 2019 DRDO Young Scientist Awards. The Minister officially launched ‘Dare to Dream 3.0’ to promote innovation and start-ups.
*The ‘Dare to Dream 2.0’ Awards were presented to 40 winners (22 individuals & 18 startups) where they provide technical and financial support under the DRDO Technology Development Fund (TDF) program.
*16 scientists under the age of 35 were presented with the 2019 TRDO Young Scientist Awards.
*During the award ceremony, the Indian Armed Forces received 3 domestic products made by DRDO:
1.ARINC 818 Video Processing and Switching Module
2.Sonar Performance Modelling System
3.Bund Blasting Device Mk-II
