Indian female archer Deepika Kumari has won gold in all three events, the women’s individual, team and mixed doubles events, at the Archery World Cup Level-3 in Paris in June 2021, France.
Deepika Kumari is the only Indian woman to compete in the Tokyo Olympics.
Gold Medal Events:
Women’s Individual – Deepika Kumari wins gold 6-0 against Elena Osipova of Russia
Women’s Team – India’s Deepika Kumari, Ankita Bhakat, and Komalika Bari win gold against the Mexican women’s team
Mixed pair – Deepika with her husband Atanu Das won the gold medal against Sjef van Den Berg and Gabriel Schlosser of the Netherlands.
*After winning the events, Deepika has been ranked as the World No. 1 Female Archer by the World Archery Federation.
*Over the years, he has won a total of 9 gold, 12 silver, and 7 bronze medals at the World Cup.
