In June 2021, Lieutenant Governor (LG) Manoj Sinha of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) launched the ‘Hausla – Inspiring Her Growth’ entrepreneurship program in Union Territory (UT).
Hausla is a comprehensive project to promote entrepreneurship among women, which will be implemented by the Jammu and Kashmir Trade Promotion Organization (JKTPO).
Main Objective:
JKTPO has partnered with various industry partners to provide training and guidance to female entrepreneurs with various marketing strategies to enhance their business.
1.JKTPO India in association with SME Forum will launch the 5-month “HAUSLA” project in July 2021, of which 100 women entrepreneurs will be the 1st batch.
2.LG Manoj Sinha has announced UT’s target of providing financial assistance to 50,000 youth by 2021 under its ‘Back to the Village’ program.
