Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology says INSPIRESat-1 is Ready for launch..

The INSPIRESat-1 CubeSat, developed under the International Satellite Program (INSPIRE) in research and education, in association with the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), is to be launched by the upcoming Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) project. Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO)

INSPIRESat-1 CubeSat:

It is equipped with a small ionosphere probe that explores the Earth’s ionosphere. The constellation of Earth and space-weather observation satellites are also expected under the INSPIRE program.

1.It weighs ~ 8.6 kg (less than 10 kg).
2.INSPIRESat-1 is a joint venture between the Laboratory of Atmospheric and Space Physics (LASP) at the University of Colorado Boulder in the United States.
3. Its computer and power supply was designed and developed by IIST students.
4. The INSPIRESat-1 mission was originally scheduled for 2020, but was delayed due to the COVID-19 epidemic.
