External Affairs Minister S.Jaishankar and China’s Vice Foreign Minister Wang Yi has mutually made 5 points agreement for maintaining peace, disengagement, dialog, and tranquillity.
- The Ministers of India and China agreed to initiate guidance to avoid disputes between two countries and take series of consensus from leaders to develop the India-china relationship.
- Both sides confessed that happening situation in the border areas is out of interest also mentioned both sides should develop proper distance, pursue their dialogues, and reduce tensions.
- Third agreed statement was that both sides continue having communication and dialogue through the special representative for the India-China boundary question.
- WMCC – Working Mechanism for consultation and coordination on India-China, they also agreed to continue to the border affairs even during meetings.
- As on easing the situation, the two sides should work on confidence-building measures to maintain peace and enhance tranquility in the border areas.
