India’s first National Heart Failure BioBank (NHFB) has opened at the National Center for Advanced Research and Specialization at Sri Chitra Thirunal Institute of Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST) HF (CARE-HF) in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
*The NHFB will collect blood, biopsy, and medical data as a guide for future treatments. It will provide insights into heart disease and heart failure among Indian children and adults.
