ISRO Launches study to upgrade the healthcare systems..

Dr. K. Sivan, President, Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), formally initiated the Health Quest study (Health Quality Improvement by ISRO Space Technology) to improve the quality of India’s health systems in line with ISRO standards and best practices.

1.The study team will explore the possibility of reflecting ISRO’s quality Assurance policies used in aerospace technology in Indian hospitals. This is to ensure zero defect and quality of service in the emergency and intensive care units (ICUs) of hospitals.

*The study will be conducted by 20 private hospitals across India
*The Quality Insurance Mechanism of ISRO will be shared with the review team to develop health quality standards.

2.The Quest course was launched by Dr. K. Sivan during an event jointly organized by the Healthcare Providers Association (AHPI) and the Society for Emergency Medicine in India (SEMI).
