Barun Mitra, Secretary, Department of Justice, launched the “Enforcing Contracts Portal” on June 28, 2021. Its main objective is to promote Easy Business (EoDB -Ease of Doing Business) in India.
The Department of Justice under the Ministry of Law and Justice is the nodal agency responsible for all policy reforms on “Enforcing Contracts” to promote EoDB in India.
Features of Portal:
*This portal provides up-to-date information on all business cases in dedicated business courts in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Kolkata.
*Online report of all High Courts relating to Arbitration and Arbitration Centers affiliated with Commercial Courts to maintain pre-institutional Mediation and settlement (PIMS) of business cases.
*Provides instructional videos and manuals for using e-filing and other useful applications – eCourt Service Application, Justice Application
