In May 2021, the National Commission for the Protection of the Rights of the Child under the Ministry of Women and Child Development (NCPCR) launched an online monitoring portal called “Paul Swaraj”. The portal also helps to track children who have lost their parents to COVID-19.
NCPCR is the official body for monitoring all children in India under Section 109 of the Juvenile Justice Act, 2015.
*COVID-Care, a link under the Paul Swaraj Portal, allows you to upload child data.
*From the point of reaching the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) until they are handed over to a parent or guardian the monitor will be digitally monitored through the website
*This digital monitoring system will control the financial expenditure of CWCs in various states / UTs.
