With the second wave of corona infection in India at rest, the daily incidence has been on the rise for the past couple of days. While corona infection was confirmed in about 25,000 people yesterday, the incidence today is slightly higher.
Across the country, 46,164 people have been diagnosed with corona infection in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of corona infections to 3,25,58,530.
A total of 607 people died of coronavirus in a single day, bringing the total number of coronavirus deaths across the country to 4,36,365.
The total number of people who have recovered from corona infection so far is 3,17,88,440, according to a report released by the Federal Ministry of Health. 34,159 people have been discharged from corona infection in the last 24 hours.
In India, 3,33,725 people suffering from corona infection are being treated in hospitals. As of yesterday, 60,38,46,475 corona vaccines have been given to the general public across the country.
Although the second wave of the corona is gradually declining, medical experts say there is a risk of a third wave if people do not follow the rules of corona prevention properly.
