Narendra Modi as a child:

Narendra Modi was born at Vadnagar on September 17, 1950 which is in Gujarat, India. He was born to a street merchant Damodardas Mulchanddas Modi. Her mother name was Hiraben Damodardas Modi. As seen his childhood was not so good. He and his brothers used to sell tea at the bus stop.

Narendra Modi as a student:

Modi ji completed his higher secondary education on 1967. He is an average student in the school as described by his teacher. But he was a good debater. He used to participate in dramas where he used to act as a character more than a normal life character. So he got his talent from his early days itself. In 1968 he got to marry a girl named Jashodaben Modi. They were not living together now.

Modi as a political trainee:

In 1958, that is when Modi ji was 8 years old itself he joined the movement called RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh). Because of his interest towards the movement, he becomes the full- time RSS pracharak. In 1971, he officially joined RSS. In 1975, Modi was appointed general secretary of the “Gujarat Lok Sangharsh Samiti”. That is a committee which coordinates the opposition to the emergency in Gujarat. From 1978 Modi has become the regional organizer managing the duties and activities of RSS especially in the areas of Surat and Vadodara. In 1979 RSS assigned him to work on the emergency history of RSS in Delhi. He returned to Gujarat in 1985. And the RSS appointed him in the BJP. In the Ahmadabad Municipal election, Narendra Modi played a major role in organizing the BJP’s campaign. So BJP won the election easily.

Narendra Modi’s early political career:

Narendra Modi becomes the General Secretary of BJP on 1988. In 1990 Modi participated as a member of BJP in coalition government. He returned to the politics on 1994 as a party secretary. In 1995 state election BJP won because of Modi’s electoral strategy. On 1988, in the assembly election of Gujarat, Modi supported BJP leader Keshubhai Patel instead of supporting Vaghela which end up creating the fraction of the party. On 26 May 2014, he become the Prime Minister of India.       

Narendra Modi and Gulbarg Massacre:

While Modi serves as a Chief Minister of Gujarat, there takes place an allegedly in a passenger train by Muslims. So in return violence was take place in the neighborhood of Muslim area called Gulbarg.  As a CM of Gujarat, Modi imposed a curfew and gave shooting order for the police. Lastly more than 1000 Muslims got killed in the incident. This caused a lot of commotion for Modi. And he was reelected in Gujarat election on both 200 and 2012. In the following years Modi talked a lot about privatization and policies that can improve India’s manufacturing strength. In Gujarat, he improved the standard of living for the poor people by eradicating poverty.

Popular schemes introduced by Narendra Modi

To connect a lot of people from the banking sector he introduced a scheme called Jan Dhan Yojna on Aug, 2014.  And to develop the skills of youth and build a better future, he introduced a development called SKILL India Mission on August 28, 2014. With clean India in mind, Modi introduced a plan called Swachchh Bharat Mission on October 2, 2014. To produce various developments in villages like social and cultural development, Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana was introduced on October 11, 2014. On May9, 2015 PM Jyoti Yojna scheme was added. That is to give Life Insurance of 2 Lakhs for people between the age of 18 and 50. In this plan the people need to pay a premium of 330 rupees per anum. Smart City Scheme of June 25, 2015 focuses on the developing 100 cities. The mission is to make them as smart cities between 2015 to 2020. On April 24, 2016, Gramoday Se Bharat Uday scheme was introduced. This plan is to develop the village and in turn to develop the country.  Further on July 7, 2016, Namami Gange Yojna scheme was introduced. It is to clean the river called Ganga.

Demonetization by Modi:

With Modi, as a Prime Minister of India he mainly focuses on the welfare of Hinduism. Schemes like selling cows for slaughter is banned because cows are considered as a sacred animal for Hindu peoples. Among the many plans, Demonetization is considered as a effective one. The plan is to replace all the 500 and 1000 rupees notes from bank within few hours of notice. So the result is to stop the usage of black money, curbing corruption, the use of counterfeit currency, and terrorism. This makes the illegal cash usage comes to stop. At the same time you cannot go to bank to exchange a huge amount of money. The following year Modi introduced Goods and Service Tax. It is one of the biggest tax reforms in the country since independence. So the main thing is to expand the government tax base. And it eliminates the problem of cascading tax, the 17 different taxes. Everything aside the unemployment and employment growth remained unfulfilled.

  1. To strengthen ties in trade, energy, defense and maritime cooperation, he visited Mozambique, South Africa, Tanzania and Kenya on July 2016 as an African tour.
  2. In June 2016, after becoming Prime Minister visit to Mexico to improve bilateral relations.
  3. On the same year June 2016, he visits US to improve the relationship between India and USA.
  4.  In Qatar, to improve the industry and trade relationship on June 2016, Modi visited the country.
  5. June 2016, Modi inaugurated the Afghan – India Friendship Dam. On his Visit to Afghanistan to meet with President Ashraf Ghani.
  6. To mark the 50 years relationship between Singapore and India, Modi visited Singapore. Also met a lot of investors and asked them to invest in India.
  7. On August 2014, Modi visited Japan and it is successful. Since it returned with number of agreements.
  8. In December 2015, Modi went to attend 16th Annual India-Russia summit. In that meeting 16 main agreements were signed.
  9. In August 2015, Modi visits United Arab Emirates. That is the first PM visit in their country in 34 years. It strengthened economic ties and improved security cooperation.
  10. On June 2015, he visited Bangladesh. And in the meeting historic agreement on a land boundary was signed.
  11. On April 2015, he visited Germany to meet German Chancellor Angela Merkel, to promote “Make in India” initiative.
  12. On March 2015, he underwent a three successful world tour to Seychelles, Mauritius and Sri Lanka. That is to strengthen the relationship between these countries.

Honors of Narendra Modi:

In 2007, India today made a nationwide survey and named Modi as a Best Chief Minister. Next he came as a cover photo Asian edition of Time Magazine in 2012. In 2014, he was declared as a winner of Time magazine reader’s poll. In 2015, Bloomberg Markets Magazine ranked him as a 13th most influential person of the world. In 2019, PM Narendra Modi film was announced to be filmed with Vivek oberai acts as Modi. In 2016, Modi won the TIME’s Person of the Year from the reader’s poll. He was the most followed state leader on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter by 2018. Also he was the one who received a highest of UN’s award for the “Champions of Earth”.

In 2009, FDI magazine give the FDI award of the year to him in Asia level. CNN-IBN news network awarded him Indian of the year in 2014. In New York, 24 September 2019 Global Goalkeeper Award was given to him. Further eRatna award is given to him by the computer society of India.

  1. Jyotipunj – The books contain the people who influenced him in the political journey. Modi was initially with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) as a worker and then become a ‘pracharak’.
  2. Abode of Love – The book is inspired by the love of mom. The book reflects the character of Modi and also the dimensions of human relationship in a beautiful way. The book includes 8 short stories written by Modi.
  3. Premtirth – This book is also a collection of short stories written by Modi at his young age. This book contains a soulful drawing portraying the motherly feeling is drawn by Modi.
  4. Kelve Te Kelavani – Education is that which nurtures is the meaning of the title. It mainly deals with his attachment with education. The book comprises his thoughts and his vision of education on Gujarat.
