Across the country, 35,662 people have been confirmed infected with a corona in the last 24 hours, slightly higher than yesterday, bringing the total number of corona infections to 3,34,17,390.
The corona infection killed 281 people in a single day. Thus the total number of deaths due to corona infection across the country is 4,44,529.
According to the Federal Ministry of Health, the total number of people who have recovered from corona infection so far is 3,26,32,222. In the last 24 hours, 33,798 people have been discharged from corona infection.
In India, 3,40,639 people are being treated in hospitals for corona infection. The number of vaccines so far has crossed 79.42 crores across the country. 2,15,98,046 vaccines were given to people across the country yesterday.
Although the second wave of the corona is gradually declining, medical experts say there is a risk of a third wave if people do not follow the rules of corona prevention properly.
