Shri Anurag Singh Thakur launched 1st Phase of MCA21 version 3.0

Minister for Corporate Affairs Anurag Singh Thakur launched the first phase of the portal ‘Ministry of Corporate Affairs 21 Version 3.0 (MCA 21 v 3.0)’.

*The MCA21 online portal provides an easy and secure access to the services of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) for corporate entities, professionals and the general public. Through this portal it enables companies to submit various documents as part of compliance requirements under the Companies Act 1956.

*The MCA21 V3.0 portal is being updated in two phases, with the 2nd and final phase of the fully updated MCA V3.0 being launched in October 2021.

*The first phase of MCA21 V3.0 includes a newly redesigned website, new email services for MCA executives and 2 new modules e-book and e-consultation.

Additional Features introduced in the first phase of MCA21 V3.0:

*The new version reduces the need for attachments, which makes the forms web-based and helps to strengthen the pre-fill mechanism.

Implementation of two new modules:

*E-book – Provides easy access to updated law and a tracking mechanism for historical changes in the law.

*E-Advice Module – The MCA will periodically introduce virtual public consultation on proposed amendments and new laws. Use of AI for compiling, compiling and categorizing feedback / input received from stakeholders and for generating analytical reports for quick policy decision making.

*MCA21 V3.0 not only enhances existing services and modules, but also develops new functions such as e-judgment, user dashboards, self-reporting tools, compliance management system, advanced help desk, feedback services, and updated primary data services.

*New email service for MCA executives – to make an organized and managed communication with internal and external partners.

MCA21

*MCA21 is an e-Governance project launched by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs in 2006. The MCA21 online portal helps to streamline corporate compatibility and partner experience by equipping it with digital technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning.
*It reduces all forms of paperwork under the MCA, such as filing documents related to various forms, income and corporate register (RoC).
