The corona infection killed 509 people in a single day. Thus the total number of deaths due to corona infection across the country is 4,37,370.
The total number of people who have recovered from corona infection so far is 3,18,52,802, according to a report released by the Federal Ministry of Health.31,374 people have been discharged from corona exposure in the last 24 hours.
In India, 3,59,775 people infected with corona are being treated in hospitals. As of yesterday, 62,29,89,134 corona vaccines have been given to the general public across the country.
Although the second wave of the corona is gradually declining, medical experts say there is a risk of a third wave if people do not follow the rules of corona prevention properly.
