World Rangers Day is celebrated on 31st July, an initiate of the International Ranger Federation(IRF) to pay respect for elite special force protecting our heritage during difficult times across the globe. Armed conflict, climate change, and poaching are the World Heritage challenge it also takes an opportunity to pay tribute to the work rangers who got injured or killed in the line of duty for protecting our natural heritage.
The UNESCO World Heritage takes up a day to thank the forest ranger, park ranger, staff, and guardians for their immense sacrifice and commitment in safeguarding and protecting our natural heritage.
