History
Before others went to visit this area for the first time, the tribal group called TODA were living in this area for a long time. This place is among the Hill stations in India, under the TamilNadu Tourism department. Then the establishment of the tea estates in this area, made this area more popular. The Mettupalayam station connects to Udhagamandalam railway station through the NMR metre gauge, which comes below the Salem division of Southern Railways. Then you can reach the Mettupalayam railway station if you come through the train. The nearest Airport is the Coimbatore Airport which is at a distance of 96Km. From there, you must take a road transport to reach this site.
